Here is a really nice Cub 982. The Cub is a 1980 with a newer Onan 20hp engine that runs great and has right side exhaust. The Onan 20hp is what was originally in the tractor, but not the side exhaust. New pto clutch which has only been used about 5 times. New paint. Individual rear brakes, which need a little adjustment. 60" cutting deck. This deck is heavy gauge steel. It did need some repair which has been done on the right rear wheel where it attaches to the deck. It is as strong as new now. All the bearings seem great in the deck. This thing cuts grass great. It may need a new battery in the near future as it doesn't seem to maintain a charge. When I switched batteries with my other tractor it worked fine and maintained a charge. It will also need one front headlight. It blew the other day when I had them on. New seat and floorboard pads. The decals are a bit scratched but not bad. The tractor has no leaks at all. On Aug-23-08 at 07:08:16 PDT, seller added the following information:I received an email from a potential buyer and he thought it may be a 1981 based on the cast iron rear end. If anyone has any questions or concerns please feel free to contact me. The deck has a plate that has the year 1980 on it. It is possible that the deck is 1 year older than the tractor. However it is the deck that was with the tractor originally as far as I can tell and according to the previous owner. Sorry for any confusion.
